It is possible to get to Salobrena by public transport by taking the C1 train to Málaga María Zambrano (9 min journey running every 20 mins 24/7) and then a second bus (Alsa – four times a day) to Salobrena (1h 35min), via: Nerja (50 mins), La Herradura (65 mins), Almunecar (75 mins) & La Caleta De Salobre (75 mins).
Alsa also run a number of services with varying numbers of stops between Salobrena and Malaga Airport and they also also run services to other destinations including Granada (e.g. from Salobrena non-stop in 65 mins, single costing 3.30 Euro). Tickets can be booked online.
